What a bargain, Wayne. Is D2 a new steel for you, I don’t think I have seen it in your knives the past? I’m impressed, it can be difficult to work with but makes an outstanding knife.

To G L Drew,
Good to hear from you. Bin a while !!
I've used a good bit of D-2 in the past. I find it to be a good tough knife steel. It's a little bit more work but worth it !! Going to turn out more D-2 knives as I go along....
Bin watching your knives Wow you have been knocking out some nice stuff.......

Gorgeous knife! D2 is a great steel -- holds an edge for a long, long time with the right heat treat, etc. I've been able to gut, skin, and process 3 large Upper Peninsula whitetail deer before needing to re-sharpen my Dozier. Love the wood scales as well.
