Hello forum members, hope you’re all having a great weekend!
Have a very nice Lightweight Vest Bowie for sale today. This one was a ton of fun to make. In the end, everything came together exactly as I imagined it, and the sheath has perfect retention and “snap”. The handle is spectacular in person, the ironwood looks like it’s on fire in the sun. Specs below:
Steel: 80CrV2
Rc: 60-61
Thickness: 5/32”
OAL: 10.5”
Blade/Cutting Edge: 6”/5.5”
Weight: 7.25oz naked, 10.25oz sheathed
Handle: Desert Ironwood Burl, black g10 liners, black and white g10 spacers, black g10 bolster. Handle is secured with SS corby bolts and the bolster with black g10 pins.
Finish: Machine belt finish, acid etch and stonewash
Sheath: Kydex, drainage hole and tube, subdued Cliff Carter Laser Mark, ulticlip included.
This one is $SOLD shipped via friends and family, or $SOLD + $12 shipping via goods and services. US only for now. Thank you for following my work!
**apologies for the sideways pics. Bladeforums is always randomly rotating them**
