** SOLD **
My Great Uncle was Dale Edwards. He was the proprietor of Indian Ridge Traders (IRT) Knives and made knives in the late 1960's and early 1970's. During this time period, he sent a prototype design to Clyde Fischer. Mr. Fischer made the knife pictured below.
In 1987, my father wrote to Mr. Fischer in Nixon, Texas to inquire about the knife. I have the original signed letter (with the envelope) that Mr. Fischer sent back to my father, and it will be included with the knife. In the letter, Mr. Fischer confirmed that he made the knife and indicated that the knife was valued at $300 in 1987. The knife is heavy and obviously well made. Blade is about 5.5", and overall length is about 10.5". Hefty 5mm blade stock. The dark spots on the blade are patina, not pitting.
I am asking $500 -->$450 for the knife and letter (with envelope). No sheath is included.
Price includes USPS Priority Insured shipping w/in the CONUS; Payment by USPS MO or +3% for PayPal.

PM or Email if interested or with questions.
