For sale, one modded Cold Steel.
I straightened the spine, and ground the blade profile closer to the Spyderco Military, sharpened to 15° per side with a 20° microbevel, removed the grooves in the handle to make it more neutral and suited to work as a utility knife more than a tactical knife, though the handle is still quite secure. I ground in a "finger choil" at the front of the scales, but left enough material that there is still a functional finger guard.
I rounded the corners of the thumb plate so it might be closer to a thumb disk now, and this allows it to deploy much better out of the pocket than before; the corners used to get hung up on the pocket, resulting in a knife that was stuck to the pocket, and half opened. Yikes! Not any more. And the Triad lock is every bit as solid and secure as is expected, but I also tweaked it to be smooth to operate, drop shutty with a slight motion of the wrist, and finally, I chamfered the lock bar for comfort, where before the edges were quite sharp and quickly became uncomfortable and even painful to operate. Now it's comfortable and easy to operate again and again.
Carried a few times. Cut cardboard a few times, but nothing much else.
