Made in the USA Cold Steel Carbon V fairly rare SRX silver blade (no coating) steel factory knife. New, bought without box during one of their auctions years ago by me.
Knife has never been used or sharpened. Factory new but stamped with a "2" melted into the butt of the handle as was their practice years ago. Cold Steel's factory seconds have always been better than most other companies "firsts". There is some slight discoloration of the blade in places but it is not rust.There is also a tiny nick on the right side of the spine towards the tang of the knife. I bought these well over 15 years ago and the Carbon V knives are no longer made and the current version of this blade is made in Japan of some very good San Mai steel but the Carbon V steel is superior in every way and is highly sought after. Please read up on this.
Please notice the rare red factory "Warning" label around the handle and the words "SRX - Cold Steel Carbon V - Made in USA" stamped/etched into the tang of the knife.

New with original factory sheath Cold Steel Carbon V Made in USA Recon Tanto. This knife has never been used or sharpened. No box. Cold Steel used to make their Carbon V proprietary steel knives in the USA, they are now outsourced mostly to Japan and while the new blades are strong and nice they are not a Carbon V blade. I bought many of these knives new from the factory and from private dealers 15-20 years ago and am now selling a few off.

New, never used or sharpened Cold Steel Factory second Carbon V Recon Tanto. Factory sheath has the lower strap cut off or it was never attached. I bought many of Cold Steel's Carbon V factory seconds directly from the factory many years ago (15-20) at their famous "Parking Lot" sales.
This knife is stamped "Made in USA". The newer ones are made in Japan are a good blade, just not a Carbon V... this was Cold Steel's proprietary high carbon steel which made for some the toughest but easily sharpened knives.
These knives are full on collectors items and were made in Ventura, California and later I believe by other sub-contractors in the USA.
