This was a Tanto before, but I have reground it to a full height convex drop point. This retains the same stock thickness all the way to the tip as the original knife, but still allows for a thin edge, and it's a little thinner behind the edge in fact than the stock Recon 1, and also more neutrally balanced for great speed and agility in the hand. It is super sharp and easy to sharpen.

I also ground the plunge line back a bit further to give more cutting edge, without sacrificing the ability to close the knife one handed by dropping the tang onto my index finger.

The handle has also been reshaped to be more neutral and versatile, yet still secure, and now you can choke up with the pseudo finger choil I have put in.

With the finishing touch of a Kydex pocket opening feature, this knife is versatile and awesome. Nobody else has this knife in this configuration. You will be the only one. And I don't know where else you'll be able to find a slab of XHP this big now.

Original box, left hand clip and original thumb studs included. Thumb studs show some wear.
