Hello to all again w/another great little Bird and Trout knife for sale. I am always going the extra mile to make every detail as nice as I am able.
I hope you like what you see.
The Blade is ground from 154cm .136 in. thick. The blade is 3.0 in. from tip to guard and the o/a length is 7.0 in. The tang has been tapered and fileworked with a creeping vine pattern and there are 3 little bronze pins in the spine. I do all my own heat treating with my Evenheat furnace. It is treated to 60-61 RC is cryogenicly treated and has had a double 2hr temper. Is Very!! sharp and will hold an edge for a long time.
The Bolsters are of Lightning strike carbon fiber pinned with two bronze pins.
The handle is of Forest green G10 with .015 thick bright red liners, mosaic pins, and lanyard hole.
The sheath is of 8-9 ounce leather that has been tooled and hand stitched by me and is custom made to fit the knife perfectly with a nice snap fit that holds the knife securely yet is easy to withdraw.
