That's interesting steel. Can't say much for how it was sharpened, interesting way to avoid the tip but you'd have to see it in person before making any judgements.

Could you explain yourself better, please? What do you mean about avoiding the tip? I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Thanks

I think the person above maybe has never seen a sheepsfoot/Wharnecliffe blade before and thus doesn't know what it's used for.

Payment sent Coty. Thanks!

I don't know, it sounded like he was being critical of the design to me, but I wasn't sure exactly how. I find it hard to believe that he's been a member here since 2003 and isn't familiar with a sheepsfoot/wharncliffe blade. Either way, this isn't the place for me to talk about this any further.

Congrats on a great score. If you don't already have one of Coty's blades, you will really like this one:thumbup:

Hey Johnny,

Well it's his loss if he's criticizing an incredible design. I got the knife today (my fifth Handley Knife) and it's bad, bad, bad. I shredded a pile of cardboard like it was lettuce. I hope Coty makes more like this (hint, hint)...
