Hey everyone! Have a pretty cool one tonight.
Base knife is a CRK Large inkosi tanto with black canvas micarta inlays. S35VN steel a DOB of March 19th, 2020. I’m at least the third owner and cut with the blade since I received the knife. No major wear to report and has all the goodies.
Next the reblade. Bought a few weeks ago from SGKnives. This is a talon reblade for the large inkosi made of nicholsdamascus boomerang CuMai. This blade runs with Skiff rocket glide rings with steel washers as a cover between the scale and bearings. There is a cutout in the blade to accommodate for the washers. The action is fantastic and glides right open after I lubed up the new bearings.
Blade shape allows for opening via thumb studs or front flipping if that’s your thing. Cut a few times with this guy but no major wear & tear to report. Will come with the box & COA.
I really love this reblade, but man I really dislike CRKs.
