Hi guys - I had posted this snakewood Mnandi previously and it was sold. When the buyer received it, he discovered the scale on the presentation side had a hairline crack near the pivot. I had not noticed this mostly cause the knife stayed in the drawer and I hadn't used it. But it was absolutely my error for not seeing this. I had him return it to me as that is unacceptable.
I then sent the knife to CRK with the explanation of the problem and they very graciously replaced the scale with a new one, and also gave the knife a spa treatment to make sure it is all up to current spec and sharp. No charge. Wonderful customer service folks to talk to.
I thought this was very nice of them as this is a 2012 model which just may have cracked for who knows what. But it looks brand new now. Includes the pocket slip and all the usual stuff.
So anyway, it's up for sale again, and I will price it the same as I did before. Price will include shipping and PayPal fees. PM or email me for the PayPal addy to use. I will ship priority and provide you the tracking number.
** I had question about if this is the old style or new style nail nick. IIRC, the old style nick has a sorta sandblasted finish in it? This one is smooth and matches the blade finish. If that is not correct, please let me know. And I was not able to thumb it open. At least not very easily at all. I added a pic. I want the buyer to be pleased.
