SOLDThis was an order but the customer cant swing the cash right now, so its available and I will build him another when ready.

12" bladed "Southern" Bowie, 16" Overall, W2/Crown Stag. Forged from W2 round bar, differentially h/t using clay, very visible but simple hamon. A very good feeling piece of stag, which will work for either right or left handed user (it isnt "canted" either way). This is the only Crown ive come across that didnt have a brow tine, and again feels just perfect with this big 12" blade.

Any how, time to get a sheath made and find this one a new home... it is fun to handle though... a Bowie this size makes any grown man smile like a school kid. Price is $975 shipped, with sheath.

What was the guard?
Surely that handle was longer than 4" - 16" oal?

thanks! I got lucky on this one and dont even have to make a sheath, the new customer wants to make his own. Looking fwd. to doing another stag Bowie, have a few old orders to fill.
