How smooth would you say the handles are? I would plan to use this if I traded/bought and my hands get really dry in cooler weather so I've had mixed results with wood handles especially the really glossy finished ones with what seems like a clear coat finish and kind of wondering where this falls.

I have a ratmandu w/ JRE sheath and sykco 311 (should have sheath soon if I bought right size) that I recently stripped, both used a little, to potentially offer as trades +/- cash.
