This knife came from a a really cool project by DeadboxHero. He put together some blanks in 4V, a high-end steel very similar to Vanadis 4 Extra. Dan Keffler has won the Blade Sport Cutting Championship with V4E steel. DeadboxHero had Peter's Heat Treat do the heat treat, with a hardness of 64 Rc.
Danijel Haramina -- the Puukko expert -- built the knife. This one is one of five knives from that project. It has curly birch for a handle and an extremely high level of fit and finish.
The original price was $350. This one has been used, and could use a sharpening. Because of the tapered spine, I can't get it to stay in my WickedEdge clamp.
