Hello Folks - I have been making knives since 2010 but its been slow going the last few years with work, travel, kids...finally able to get some time at the grinder again so I will be pasting a few here. Thank you for taking a peak....

This is an old Canadian made black diamond file with brass guard and curly oak handle. Blade has been clay quenched and etched. HT is done in a kiln and Parks 50. Sheath is 9oz+ veg tanned leather, saddle stitched. I like to use salvage materials - the file was from my fathers old tool box, the handle is local salvage oak, the clay used for quench is form the creek behind my house.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Very cool, I think I really like the fact you used materials you had around, something improvised to meet a need, like the old days when one couldn’t just go to the hardware store to buy a knife. t1mpani t1mpani , may it serve you well. Any pics in the future would be fun to see how you have used it.

Sold to T1mpani - Thank you sir! Appreciate the feedback folks. I love using local and reclaimed materials.
