HAPPY NEW YEAR BLADEFORUMS! Sorry for the length of this but I like to be as descriptive as possible, and it also helps save time asking/answering common questions.
SOLD- For sale or trade is my TIM CURRY KNIVES V2 MYRMIDON. I just received this new, on 23 December 2015, direct from Tim. My desire to sell/trade this knife is for sentimental reasons only and I'm in absolutely no hurry whatsoever. NOTE: If you are ACTIVE-DUTY US MILITARY (only), I will discount the price of this knife by 10%... please contact me first (must provide proof... I'm recently retired military, so I know legit when I see it

SALE CONDITIONS:
- First "I'll take it," plus follow-up by immediate PM/Email, and prompt payment gets it.
- Payment will be by PayPal Goods/Services... price is NET to me
- I will not sell to "Registered Users." If you can afford this knife, you can certainly afford a BF membership.
- I reserve the right to sell to sell to whom I want. I have excellent feedback and I'm entirely fair in my transactions.
- Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail Insured at my expense. I will mail it out as early as tomorrow.

SPECS: This particular V2 Myrmidon has Tim's well-known blade shape with a subtle harpoon that climbs slightly above the thumb disc. The harpoon edge at the thumb disc has been carefully rounded for comfort... and it truly is comfortable. There is also some gimping on the spine of the blade. The blade length is ~3 3/8"; OAL is ~7 7/8"; closed length is just shy of 4 1/2"; blade thickness at ricasso is 0.181"; weight is 5.7oz. A perfect EDC size knife that feels exceptional in the hand.
SPECS CON'T: The flat-ground blade w/swedge is made of 1095 high carbon steel with a stunning hamon that goes all the way to the top of the spine. The knife has plain titanium blasted and tumbled/stonewashed scales and matching sculpted titanium pocket clip, as well as a polished titanium pivot collar and pivot, standoffs and hardware. The knife has a flow-through design with no backspacer, and has a lanyard hole. The blade has its original edge and is extremely sharp from Tim. The detent is ideal and the action is smooth and fast on bronze washers (pivot hole has been lapped for smoothness... so smooth I had to confirm with Tim that he hadn't started using caged bearings), with very solid lock up, no lock stick, and the blade is perfectly centered. There is absolutely zero blade play in any direction. The blade tang is carbidized and Tim's maker's mark is etched on the show-side of the blade.
FULL DISCLOSURE: The only flaws I could find are just a few small scratches/hand-rubbing/etching marks on the blade, but all of these are fairly minor (there are a couple small shinier marks on lock-side of the blade) and these can not be seen at most angles. Other than that, this V2 Myrmidon is in like-new condition but I will call it 99% mint. It is uncarried, unused, and has never cut anything since I received it from Tim. With the exception of taking a few pics, it has been stored in its case since it arrived. Bottom line, it is superbly well made and a wonderful example of Tim's knife-making skills.
TRADE CONDITIONS: I am only interested in trading for the knives listed below... sorry, my tastes are specific (cash added by either party, if necessary). I will only consider trades with members who have excellent feedback (100%) and recent activity on BF. Knives must be in mint or NM condition and must have the maker's original edge (nothing re-sharpened... especially by an amateur on a wicked edge...ugh).
- Original Todd Begg Ti Bodega with micarta (maybe rare G10 colors, but please don't offer CF or LSCF as I have those already).
- Tom Mayo Large or XLs, 3.75" blades or longer (hole pattern and blade shape depending).
- May consider WR Bladeworks or JB Stout knives (not very early models).
- Not interested in any other custom knives at this time.
