We could really use a new kitchen sink that is big enough to fit our kitchenware in (we have a large family and a small sink), so I'm letting go of my 940. As much as I like it, we need a better sink more than I need this knife, and I have others that will fill in as a dress knife.
I had the scales custom anodized by Kent Aldridge of Mad-Jac's Finish & Archery in a two-tone style. Masking the very edge of the blue proved to be quite difficult, so he had to apply the silver dye by hand, resulting in a tiny drop on the blue that is 1.5mm long. I can understand why Benchmade never made this a production run. There is also one small scratch on the same side when I slipped with my torx driver switching the pocket clip to the other side (yeah, really stupid of me). The S30V blade is hair-shaving sharp at 30º inclusive. Lockup is solid with no vertical or lateral play. It is lubricated with Nano-Oil which allows for tightening the pivot more than most and sill assuring smooth flicking. It is still one of the smoothest opening knives I've come across. It comes with the box and microfiber bag.
I polished the hardware myself, but left the two body screws black since they are not symmetrical. If you want those polished I can do so before boxing it up. If you want the backspacer polished to match the rest of the hardware, I can do that, or I can anodize it a different color -- darker purple, royal blue, light blue...
I'm asking SOLD shipped priority & insured tyd. I would prefer a USPS Money Order (same as cash for me, federal mail fraud laws to protect you since I have no desire to be a felon). If you really love Pay Pal, I will accept it even though I would rather not give them my business. Just post "I'll take it" in this thread and PM me.
Magnified images always make flaws look worse than they are, but I want to make sure you know what you're getting.
