SOLD Custom Camp Knife in CPM-3V and spalted maple SOLD

Here we have a full custom camp knife, built to spec for a member here. Full tang CPM-3V @ 58Rc, hand-ground by me and HT'ed by Peters'. The 7" blade features jimping and a crisp 2,000-grit hand-rubbed finish. The grind is a full, mild convex.

The scales and handle on the matching firesteel are from the same block of lightly dyed, stabilized spalted maple. The tang is slightly extended, and mosaic-pin caps cover the hidden stainless Corby bolts.

The sheath is 8-9oz veg tanned leather, built and finished by me, stitched by my wife. If features an oversized pocket large enough for the firesteel and other fun stuff like a sharpening stone or small folder. Thanks for looking!

Are there any more pictures of that knife?? What was the spine thickness? How much did it go for?

That bad, huh? The spine thickness is just under 3/16".

In the third picture below you can see there's a spalted line that runs all the way around the top corner of end of the handle. Sometimes you just get lucky with figured wood like this.
