*SOLD* Custom double bit saddle axe - cruiser with cherry handle

This is a beauty....started with a unknown maker cruiser size double bit....This is nice, old high-carbon steel as discovered when setting up edges...Given a deep clean, polish, added stippling in the center field and final gun-blue to complete the look. A seasoned, hand-carved cherry handle was added and the head is secured with a light walnut tension wedge. Overall length is 23" - the head width is 8 1/4" (widest) and the cutting edge (both) is 4". Both edges are set-up to be very aggressive! This is sharp...if you handle either edge carelessly...you won't do it again. Included light-weight leather head cover (you may want to invest in a heavier cover). No disappointments.
