File work on blade spine & lock release, nice detent, strong lockup, smooth action and blade is centered. It is ugly, but it's a work horse. sold .

Was your inspiration for this knife a dump truck? As beasts of burden go, I love your execution. This knife looks at damascus slipjoints and spits on them for being weak.

Alan,
I received "the Beast" Wednesday and all I can say is WOW!!!! The pics do not do the blade finish justice.... beautiful grinds and polish work!! Lock up is perfect and it opens smooth..... I keep thinking the handle is a bit too large, but i have to remember it will be about perfect with gloves on this fur season!!!

Folks, there is no way, that after a few of Alans folders get out and about, that you will be picking them up for what you can NOW!!!! I was reluctant to post that, as I know it limits the length of time, I will be able to afford his work!!!lol

Alan your stuff is definitely worth double what you are asking! Thanks again for a real solid, work horse, of a folder at a great price. My kindest regards and best of luck to you...... Regards, Steve

p.s. I will be ordering more, as my pocket book allows.
