I forged this one from some damascus san mai that I made. The core is 8ocrv2.

The handle is African Blackwood. It has been faceted and polished and really fits the hand well. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather made in a quilted pattern. It holds the knife securely and allows for an easy draw.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/4" tip to handle
OAL - 9"

Price - sold shipped to US.

I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it" gets it.

Dang, that's some knife. The curves of the profile and the organic looking blade patterning complement the planar surfaces of the handle that terminate in another grand curve. The brass pins bring it back into focus as a knife. Very subtle and sophisticated things at play here. Visual, tactile, functional. Jeepers, guys. Sculpture to cut things with tucked into good looking leather.

A very apt and eloquent description! I love it. That’s what I’ll tell my wife if she ever asks. She’s pretty reluctant to enter my office because there’s always something in there to raise an eyebrow. Plus she hasn’t figured out how to get my storage chest open! 😂 In her defense she never would. We have boundaries and respect them.
