FSO is a Darrel Ralph AK/1 proto with black carbon fiber insert, 1 of 15.
Release system is Patented by Darrel; called Speed Auto Safe (SAS). The safety and release are all the release button. Press forward and down to open, same to close. The blade is 154CM and is 3.9". The handle has jimping top bottom and at the hilt. There are carbon fiber inserts in the handles, front and back. There are only 15 of these. Darrel mentioned this knife finished first in some military trials out of 35 knives submitted for consideration. The 18XRay is the production version of this custom auto.
