This is a full custom knife and has plenty of history.
This was the 1st EDC full custom sold.
I purchased this knife from Darrel at the Blade Show 2K with the caveat that I had to send it back to him for an upcoming photo shoot with Handgunner magazine. Buyer will get a copy of that May/June 2001 magazine. (see pics)
Many years later, the knife was stolen from my collection and subsequently recovered. After recovery, it was sent back to Darrel for a refurb. It came back with a slightly different anodizing hue (original graduated from blue to purple, now mostly purple) with the Gold and there are a couple of faint scratches on the right side of blade. Still a gorgeous handmade knife by the man himself. I have not carried, nor played with it since getting it back.
