This is a collection of custom knives that were given to me by my neighbor and friend who is a retired knife salesman. All of these came from his private collection and are in excellent condition. If there are any blemishes they are noted in the description for that knife.
The details on each knife are what I have been told by my friend or other collectors. I'm not a custom knife collector and have limited knowledge about these knives. If you have a question that I don't know the answer to, I will try to find it for you.
All knives are in my possession and ready to ship. I always pack items very carefully, so each knife will be wrapped and protected unless it comes with padded case in which case the case will suffice.
I can take additional pictures of any of the knives if you want to see more details or a different view.

Dave Ellis Damascus. This is a beautiful earlier Dave Ellis with a Damascus guard and butt cap, copper spacer and Sambar Stag Grip (Dave confirmed these details himself). The blade is engraved with "JS" indicating Dave made this while he was a Journeyman Smith before he became a Master Smith. Comes with a zippered padded pouch shown in the photos.

Herman J. Schneider Drop Point Hunter with Sambar Stag grip made around 2005. The blade is engraved with "H. J. Schneider" and "-Maker-". This knife exudes the craftsmanship and quality of Mr. Schneider's creations. Comes with a zippered padded pouch shown in the photos.

Chuck Stapel Damascus with a brass thumb-drop guard. The handle is comprised of stag antler with a micarta spacer, an oosik (fossilized Walrus bone) mid-piece, another micarta spacer and a wild stag end cap. The blade is imprinted with with "Stapel". Chuck was known as the "Knife Maker to the Stars". This is a truly unique and beautiful knife.
Includes a custom handmade Russ Green sheath designed specifically for this knife.

Mike McClure Custom hand-forged. Handle is deer antler. Blade is stamped "JS" for Journeyman Smith. This one does have some small dark stains on the blade. Comes with the original leather sheath.
