DAVID BOYE famous custom knives are made with his own BOYE DENDRITIC STEEL which is extremely tough and rust resistant.
This David Boye beauty is approximately 4" long when closed. The blade is tang stamped with the classic "CACTUS" BOYE USA logo (see pics). The rear tang is stamped: BDC COBALT CRYSTAL (see pics). The blade is partially polished with the partial serrated edge grind (see pics). The blade locks tightly in the open position and may be closed upon pressing the lock-release on the bottom of the knife. The thumbnail opening is a "cutout" thumbhole (see pics).
Used but not abused. There’s no pocket clip or awl and it doesn’t look like one was ever installed.
