Info from maker:
This piece is forged from L6. It has a forge/rustic etch finish. The OAL is 10 1/4 in and the blade is 5 1/2 in. The handle is leather underlay with hemp that is epoxy impregnated and a turkshead knot. It has a hanging leather sheath.
This knife is the sharpest knife I have ever received. It is unused, other than the cut on my finger when I first handled it carelessly.

Nice knife!! I'm trying to save up for one just like this... Dave's tribal work is perfection.

Do you know if it has a socket handle or not? The spine pics make it look that way...

To be honest, I'm not sure what that means. Sorry.:o With an explanation, I may be able to give you some kind of answer.

It is not a socket handle. I did the leather in two layers and sculpted a palm swell in it. This knife is one of the most comfortable I have held. It rocks!
