***BECAUSE OF RECENT SCAMS, I WILL ONLY COMMUNICATE THROUGH THIS SITE'S MESSAGES/CONVERSATIONS***

David Mary Wharncliffe in .225" of 8670

Just to be safe, I'm going to call this one used/sharpened. (*See below)

I bought this to carry, but never did. As stated above, I'm calling this one "used/sharpened". However, as far as I can remember, it's been sitting in one of my knife storage bins since I got it. David supplied it with a sheath. (*pictured) If I remember correctly, the scales are some sort of green/grey wood that David acquired from one of his suppliers. It's .225" full-flat 'vex of 8670, so bring-on the EDC piercing/cutting/utility tasks.

$130 SOLD! PayPal G&S, shipped TYD in the lower 48

1) I will only sell to whom I wish.

2) By purchasing this knife, the Buyer will stipulate that he/she is 18yoa or older and accept ALL liability/responsibility for the possession and use of this knife.

3) Please view the pics very carefully and address any questions/issues before stating your intent to purchase.

4) I work/keep various hours. Please allow 48-72 hours for shipping. If this is an issue, I would strongly advise not to purchase.

Thanks for looking.

Hopefully it's ok for me to comment....

The scale material looks like what I believe to be called frogwood?
I don't think it's still being made anymore?

I too have a DM blade made with this, mine is a chopper of sorts.
Also in 8670 steel.
Both the steel, and the scale material are Amazing!!!
8670 is a high impact steel, often used in Jack hammer bits, and wood chipper blades. One of the toughest steels around, and the laminated scales are crazy tough too. They feel like nice wood, I believe they use this material for high end rifle stocks. It's very stable.
Who ever buys This is getting a Screaming Deal!!!

The scales look about a million percent better with a little "Wicked Wax" on 'em. Alas, I wanted to be transparent and give guys a "morning after" look at the lady, not the "dancing at 0100 hours in the dark Club" look.

That being posted, I think you could stab this thing through an armored truck door.

Thanks for your post.
