We bought this a while ago to have when the grandkids came to visit, and I don't think it ever got used more than once or twice: very high-performance and functional day pack with two external side pockets....each with an additional mesh compartment. The side mesh pockets can be used for quick access items, while each pocket behind holds a water bottle ! Internal divider pockets make organizing and separating stuff easy and quick. Front and back external slot pockets can be used to stash laptop, books, newspapers, or extra clothes and offers extra capacity. Two generous zippered front compartments along with an additional front, mesh pocket holds phone, snacks, note cards, pens, flashlights, and a fixed blade or folding knife. Main zippered compartment has an additional zippered pocket and large mesh pocket for easy separation of gear. Adjustable padded pack straps.
