Hey, hope everyone is doing well! Here is a new design that I've been working on for a while now. I kept find my self looking at the awesome Bowies and fighter style knives around the forums, so I decided that I had to try my hand at something simmilar. It's not as practical as my knives normally are, but I had a blast making it and I hope that you guys like it
A little backstory on the micarta. It was found in a huge 24"x24"x2" slab at the model shop inside my dads old office building. They were downsizing and getting rid of a fair bit of equipment, so employees could take whatever they wanted. I found this and a similar slightly smaller block of tan micarta, sitting by some injection molding equipment in a corner. I have no idea how old it is, or even exactly what it is, but you could tell from the discoloration around the exposed surfaces that it is pretty old. It worked very similarly to linen micarta, but had a very odd smell when worked. All in all I love the way it looks, and that is all that really maters
This is a little outside of what I normally sell, so I'm not exactly sure how to price it. I'm asking $SOLD shipped inside the US for this one, I think that's a fair deal. The swedge on this one is almost sharp, it is ground very thin, but I didn't put a secondary bevel on it. I believe it would still be double edged though, so please make sure you know your local laws regarding that.
Specs:
OAL-9 1/16"
Blade Length-4 9/16"
Steel-3/16" CPM-3v heat treated to 61 hrc by peters heat treating
Handle material-"micarta"(see above) with natural paper micarta pin and tube
Sheath-leather dangler sheath made by my dad
Swedge is almost sharp, it has no secondary edge but one could easily be applied
Pics:

Thanks for looking, please let me know what you think,
Drew
