Hey, guys
Today was my last day of finals, so I decided to celebrate by posting a knife :D I really like making these kwaikens, so you can expect to more of these (although probably slightly different) in the future.

Asking $125 shipped inside the US for this one, this includes the leather pocket sheath made by my dad in the pictures (he's really getting good!)

Specs:

OAL-6 1/2"
Blade Length-3" (Measured from the middle of the handle scales)
Steel-1/8" Hitachi #2 blue (I apologize for accidentally calling it super blue in the last listing :foot:) Heat treated by Peters to 61-62 HRC
Handle Materiel-Figured ironwood (it is bookmatched, the figure just varies from side to side, but beautiful none the less)
Handle secured with 1 g10 tube (front) and 2 g11 tubes (center and rear) as well as gflex epoxy

Thanks for looking, please let me know what you think!
Enjoy your weekend,
Drew

Mate that rocks! And I agree your Dad's sheath work is getting damn good!
Thanks man! Good to here for you again :)

This is exceptional! I am honestly surprised there's not a SOLD by it.
Thanks, there is now though, this one is SOLD!

That's a ridiculously low price!
Thanks, I'm pretty well set up to make these so I can produce them more quickly and more easily than most of my other designs.

Really nice Drew...I see one in my future:thumbup:
Thanks Paul, hopefully the not too distant future, I haven't had much shop time lately (and it's been cold:() but hopefully I'll have some more avaliable soon.

Drew, this is just a winning design. I don't buy a sloo of knives anymore, but this one spoke to me. Everything from the choice of steel to the profile to the sharpening choil to the handy size to the reinforced stitching around the mouth of the IWB or pocket sheath. IMO this should be a staple pattern for you, perhaps in varying lengths and handle materials. I'll be posting a review down the line, not to worry.

Jeez.....That thing is blowing my mind. Super clean knife man. Superb grinds. Leather is on point too.

Thanks a lot, I'm looking forward to the review.

Just the right amount of Sexy X Business, that spoke to me also.

Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it :)

Thank you sir, that really means a lot coming from you (your knives are about as clean as they get)

I have another similar kawiken in peel ply g10 finished up that has a couple things preventing me from selling it, but I'm considering doing a pass-around if there is enough interest.

I agree with all above! Hooked me for sure. I was all over the net last night looking for something in Aoko Kurouchi exactly this size (have found very little Blue #2 outside of Japanese chef knives), and just couldn't find what I was looking for, but I have now. Any chance you have (or can get) some cocobolo that could be placed on an upcoming blade? I need a b-day gift for myself in mid-Feb. One of these in my favorite wood couldn't be beat!
