Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well. I have a bunch of finished knives waiting for sheaths, so even though school is starting up back again I should have knives available pretty regularly.

This is my first knife available from my most recent batch in CPM154 CM. I'm about ready to buy steel for my next batch, so if any one has any suggestions I'd love to hear them:thumbup:

Asking $145 shipped inside the usa for this one

Specs:
Oal-6 3/8"
Blade Length-2 5/8"
Steel-.135 CPM154 CM heat treated to 61 hrc by Peters heat treating
Handle Material-Aged ivory paper micarta with g10 pins and tube (not antique from what I can gather, USA Knifemaker just marked it as aged)
Sheath-Leather pocket sheath with pocket clip made by my dad
Swedge is not sharpened

Now for the pictures, I had a hard time getting the handles colors to show through in pictures, its not quite as yellowish as it looks in the photos

Thanks for looking, please let me know what you think,
Drew

Just spectacular work Drew

As for steel suggestions - can't complain about 3V :) Maybe CPM M4, CTS-204P or ZDP-189 (probably pretty expensive though...???)

Thanks for all the replays, right now I think I'm leaning towards m4.

Amikee, the blade is a little over 1/8" thick

Nice, can't wait to see the other finished knives. I've been looking for a new fixed blade edc and these kwaikens are perfect. I would like to see more wooden handles like the ironwood, and I'm a fan of d2.

Nice brother! Hope there are more composites in this batch, been carrying my 3V/G10 quite a bit

Excellent! How about Elmax, 3V, or if you want to try your hand at a tool steel A2?
Drew, your designs just keep getting better and better! You amaze me with your ability, and your Dad's sheaths are excellent as well!
You two make one hell of a team, and I very much hope you continue turning out awesome blades/sheaths.

Goodmorning young Master Drew, here's the knife "i did foresee,(remember me lookin'over your shoulder) its as pretty as could hope.but thats no surpise, after seeing the first two Kwaiken's i rated your skill's VERY high!one of these day's i'll pm or mail you with my request, and,as i said before you and Dad make one hell of a team!Best regards from the land of wooden shoes and windmills!Rob.

Thanks for all the comments and recomendations, I really appreciate them guys:)

I'll have to do some more searching around, may stick with 3v but elmax is also very tempting.

Edit:what do you guys think of Z-finit?

This one is still avaliable...

Z-finit sounds interesting...I'd buy one of your knives in that steel (or 3V, or M4 or.... :)

My 3v version came razor sharp, and the leather scabbard was something to behold. All in all its a great value for the price considering the quality of the knife and scabbard.
