Hi - I live in New York City and a knife 4 inches, or longer than 4 inches, is not a legal carry. If your American Tanto is being measured as a 3.80 inch blade from the wrap to the tip, I will take it. In other words, with a ruler against the nylon cord handle is it under 4 inches? Just want to know I can use it as a EDC carry it in NYC.

Steve, if you were measuring from wrap to tip it'd be real close to that limit.
 
Hi Joe - Close is OK as long as it can be seen that it does not make 4 inches. Should I send you payment by Paypal. I am originally from Jersey as well.
