I sent this knife back to KAI to remove a broken clip screw and fix gaps between scales and liner, and it came back perfect. Manufactured in 2008, but the previous owner was a collector who stored it in his safe, and I've never used or carried it; I bought it about a month ago. I don't see any coating wear; this knife is like new.
Emerson Mini Commander - $SOLD (was $95) - Used and carried for a couple weeks. Solid lockup with no play, sharp factory edge, blade slightly favors the clip side. It came to me with a few cosmetic scratches near the tip on the clip side (so light I can't capture them on camera). Light cosmetic wear on the thumb disk screw, pivot screw, and clip. 2013 model, bought new in August 2017. No box. This was $184 new.
