Up for sale today is my DMT Dia-Sharp Bench Stone. I’ve only used it a handful of times, as I commonly stop at a higher grit on my knives.
DMT Dia-Sharp Bench Stone - Extra Fine
This is the model D8E. It measures 8” x 3” and is about 3/8” thick. It has a continuous surface of micronized monocrystalline diamond. The base is nickel-coated steel, precision ground for flatness. This is the extra fine version, which is 1200 mesh or 9 micron. I personally use a little soapy water when using diamond stones, some use them dry or even with a bit of oil. Barkeepers Friend will keep it cleaned up. Nice stone, but I just don’t polish my edges to this level usually. Made in the USA.
