This is a hearty outdoor knife based on the classic design by Mr. Horace Kephart, that combines great cutting geometry, balance, and a proven shape with an affordable price point. I have worked with Kephart style blades of different sizes and handles and this is the one!**Even though the handle has a comfortable palm swell and curves in all the right places, by keeping it simple I am able to keep the price point down. The blade is light and nimble in the hand and will slice like a razor, being made of O-1 steel, is very strong and dependable. This knife also includes

Really like the looks of your Knife ~~ how easy does the O-1 show any amount of rust ?? Also is that a 'Snap' Sheath or just
an open Sheath.?
Thx.

wolf man, First thank you. O-1 is a hight carbon steel so think along the line of 1080 or 1095 for rust a little oil is your friend. The sheath uses a leather thong and a beed rather then a snap. It is also ambidextrous.

cbach8tw Thank you the thinner blades cut so well and carries so much better. Given the advanced steels available there is no reason to carrie half a metric ton of steel!
