Hey guys,
I'm reposting this hunting knife up for sale today. The blade is Bohlers N690 stainless, which I have been impressed with. The handle material is some really tight curl Ringed Gidgee (some of the best I've seen) with green canvas micarta bolsters. The grind is full flat down to 0.015" and then convex down to near zero. The finish is cork belt satin. It's been heat treated by Peter's to RC60.
Specs:
OAL: 9.5"
BLADE: 4.5" long, 1.875" wide, full flat grind, cork belt satin finish.
STEEL: 0.13" N690, heat treated by Peter's to RC60
HANDLE: Australian Ringed Gidgee and green canvas micarta bolsters. Micarta pins and liners.
SHEATH: Hand made leather.

$SOLD Shipped CONUS, international buyers welcome shipping extra
Post "I'll take it" here in this thread and then PM or email me for arrangements.

I don't know if this is the right place for this question sir, but how do you finish your Ringed Gidgee?

Sure no problem. I sand up to 1500 grit and then put about 5 light coats of Sutherland Wells Tung oil on. Sanding in between coats. I like Danish oil on some other woods like Maple and Koa but feel like it darkens Ringed Gidgee too much.
