SOLD!!! I made this knife and sheath to demonstrate the steps for a fellow blacksmith who goes to my church, helping him build one for his grandson. The process is documented on my Instagram/Facebook accounts.
The steel is 5160, and the handle is two layers of paracord over a layer of leather, impregnated with West System marine epoxy to be rock solid and waterproof. The blade is 5", including the choil, and the overall length is 10 1/4". The spine is approximately 3/16" at the Turk's head knot, tapering distally to the point. It is, of course, shaving sharp.
SOLD!!! Price is $185 for the knife, $40 for the sheath, plus carry hardware and shipping. SOLD!!!
