I should add to this, I have been using a knife ground this thin in the kitchen with absolutely no problems. Even trying to cause damage through a butternut squash. Edge stability is fantastic

I love this design- gorgeous knife. Light duty only? Might want to clarify that- gives me the willies, but I suspect you mean “don’t baton it through knotty pine”.

Yep you wouldn’t want to baton. This knife is made to cut things very efficiently as what I believe knives are for.

I list the behind the edge thickness so the user gets an idea of what tasks it can handle

This sweet looker is no show pony to my way of thinking. I suspect it will perform nicely any task remotely near the sort of things it is designed for. That it is beautiful is a great bonus.

I applaud your putting function over form, although it’s finely executed in its simplicity too. Do you make this scaled down about 25% with say 3/32” stock?
