I realized after looking at the album that there was some dark gunk on the tip of the blade. I removed it with rubbing alcohol and the tip is clean now:

Condition: Good. A strong and crisp detent, good lockup, pretty smooth (has some more breaking in to do). Like all Emersons there’s some lock stick but not nearly as bad as I’ve experienced on others I’ve owned/handled. The blade is pretty well centered (but remember it’s chisel ground so the tip sits off center). The clip sits the tiniest bit off of the G10. It came this way from Emerson and it would take two seconds to bend it slightly so it sits flush with the G10. But I kind of like it this way as it makes the knife less of a pocket shredder. There are bits of fluff stuck in the G10 that I’m too lazy to try to remove.
Good grind, nice and sharp. There are some light scratches from use and some scuffs in the G10, but nothing too crazy. This knife is meant to be used and abused so a few scratches means nothing! I purchased this directly from Emerson.
Does not come with box or papers but will come in a velcro pouch.
