Hey blade forums,
I’m selling this new production/Emerson collectors association (ECA) release Emerson Mach 1.
its a vintage year 2000 blade with Walter birdsong black T finish. The handle is new production with spacers and single detent.
Extremely smooth action, good centering and zero side to side play.
while there is no up and down play, there is a good amount of lock bar flex/deflection a la Sebenza 31. The lock doesn’t move at all on the tang and seems super solid, but the flex is noticeable. I emailed Emerson about it and Ernest himself assured me it’s within spec and inherent to the Mach 1 design.
I also reprofiled the edge to a v grind. It’s hair popping sharp albeit a little thick behind the edge.
never carried, used to cut open another knife box and some paracord.
comes with box, manual and sticker.
Asking $SOLD obo Shipped Conus. PayPal preferred. These were originally $245 and were a limited run of vintage blades which won’t be made again. Price reflects flex and v grind.
