It has been handled just a few times, but never used. I would keep it, but I need some funds for another knife.

I really don't know for sure. When I ordered them they were listed that way, but when I got them there were clip plates included which I don't think was true for the 1st production runs. I haven't opened them so I really can't tell for sure.
 
First 500 were the first production run ones. Anything after 500 is a normal one. You should be able to see the serial # on the handle.
