Guys,
Offering up my Sypderco Southard. I bought this on BF earlier this year. Note when purchase it did not come with the sleeve in the lanyard tube so that is the way it is being sold. As many know I have sang the Southard praises in the past. It is the best flipper I have come to know. All said I have carried this knife for some time, It has been sharpened on the Edge pro, Has some little scuffs on the clip and some mark glue type substance, possibly a scratch on the Mark side scale that does not wash off.
Recently, it has not been flipping well. So I took the knife apart very carefully. Cleaned and inspected all the parts. Everything seems fine. Put it back together the same order it came apart and the dang thing still will not work the way I want. I know there is some secret or something but I do not have the patience for it. Please note the tiny center handle screw on the pile side I could not get out, it may be stripped. Too old for this stuff, its gotta to go.
The knife is still in great shape overall but needs some TLC. It will come with a titanium clip that I never installed.
