This is the Explorer, my take on the ideal bushcraft knife. This is specifically designed for outdoorsmen & wilderness skills practitioners.

Blade. 5/32 inch O1 high carbon tool steel. Heat-treated & tempered in an electronic furnace to an RC hardness of 58-60. The 4 inch drop-point blade has a mirror-polished scandi grind, and a hand rubbed satin finish. This one has a slight convex micro-bevel (which could be taken out with sharpening if desired).

Handle & Scales. 4.75 inch long handle. Arizona desert ironwood scales, cinnamon red liners. Polished & contoured to fit comfortably in the hand for extended use. Extra thick scales. This one has a pronounced coke-bottle contour. Fastened together with two 5/16 brass loveless bolts & lanyard tube (as well as epoxy).

Sheath. 7-8 oz vegetable tanned tooling leather. Stitched with waxed artificial sinew. Dyed brown & hit with a high-sheen water repellent finish.

Price. $225 plus $5 shipping ($230). The first who says "I'll take it" either here, through PM, or through my email gets it. I prefer PayPal, but am open to other methods of payment.
