I've got this hunter up for sale today. The blade was made from a billet of Explosion pattern Damascus that I got from Randy Haas at HHH Knives. It's probably the coolest damascus I've worked with thus far. It's a combo of 1080/15N20 steel heat treated by Peter's to RC60. The handle is Curly Walnut stabilized by K&G and black canvas micarta bolsters. The large pins are micarta and the small are copper mosaic.
The sheath is handmade stacked leather.
Specs:
OAL: 8.5"
Blade: 3.5" long 1.5" wide, full flat grind with distal taper. Hand sanded to 1200 grit and etched in Ferric Chloride. The edge is 0.009" before sharpening.
Steel: 0.16" thick 1080/15N20 Explosion pattern Damascus from HHH Knives, heat treated by Peter's to RC60
Handle: Stabilized Curly Walnut with black canvas micarta bolsters. Black canvas micarta liner and white G10 pinstripes. Micarta and mosaic pins.
Sheath: Handmade stacked leather.
$325 Shipped CONUS, international buyers welcome shipping extra.
Post "I'll take it" here in this thread and then PM or email for payment arrangements.
Comments/Questions/Critiques welcome.
Thanks!

WOW! This is a beautiful knife! I can't believe it would hang around this long. Such a good price and a beautiful peice! I'm rather wishing I could afford it right now...I would love to get a knife from you.

You have such a nice style with your knives!

Thanks Dozier!

Appreciate the kind words Daniel, that means a lot! We'll have to set up a swap or do the next KITH

I think that is a great idea. Ya'll could each send me a knife and I'll swap hands with them?
I'm a Genius sometimes.

Now that is a brilliant idea! Why didn't I think of that? [emoji1360]
