Hey guys! As some of you know, im a full time maker specialized in kitchen knives. I like to make some bowies just for brake routine and have some fun, since before being a knifemaker, i always loved these knives.
My most favorite style is the brut de forge, i love the forged finish and how it contrasts well with the satin of the steel itself.
The bevels and taper of the blade has been mostly done on forging.
For this build, i picked a very special rosewood block i had sitting in my workshop for literally 3 years. This rosewood is dark, has some insanely beautiful purple strips and will surely get you stunned once you see it in hands.

The blade is built to be used, while some people like to collect brut de forge knives, i did this one to be a heavy duty tool.
As all my knives, both choil and spine are rounded for your better experience of use, and safety. Im confident that the handle design will impress you.

Now to specs:
10 1/2 " blade length (around 270mm)
15 1/2 " overall length
480 grams overall (moves fast and easy considering the size of it, i have seem kitchen knives almost this weight)
max thickness 5,6mm slightly forge tapered towards the tip, it has around 4,8 at middle of the blade (measured at spine).
52100 steel heat treated to perfection and guaranteed to have a very fine grain (i actually did it a bit longer and broke its tip so i got pictures of the grain of the actual blade listed, the owner will get the pictures)
60hrc

Picture from a customer in Texas who owns a similar knife from me, bought in the end of 2021 if i remember well.

While im new to the forum, i can provide tons of references (most of them based on US). Im from Brazil, shipping is fast and it is guaranteed to dont have a single cent of duties on your end.
As mentioned previously, im mostly focused on kitchen knives and at the moment im out of time to work with leather, to be honest, i dont like working with leather sheaths.

An example of the sheath i used to craft but it is really not my thing.
Hope you like it guys! Have a nice weekend everyone in advance.
