Hey guys!

This one is really insane and im really proud to show it.

This knife took a massive ammount of effort to be made and it is a knife of excellence by all means of it.

I could describe this knife in many details but in summary:

Excellence and satisfaction guaranteed.

FLAWLESS balance in the heel area - you will have absolute control on this knife

This blade was hand finished and trust me - doing this in a 61hrc knife isnt easy task, only hand sanding it took me about 11 hours

It has a perfectly rounded spine and choil for better comfort and use.

Only 175 grams overall - snakewood and ebony are among the top 5# heaviest woods in the planet, given the blade length, 175 is a really really nice weight for such knife.

Personal note:

First to thank to all customers who support my work and allow me to improve and get better materials to work up with.

Honyaki knives are known to be incredibly expensive due their tricky making of, they arent mass produced so every honyaki you see out there was hand crafted in essence. Hamons are not aesthetic effects, it is literally the steel microstructure as the knife is heat treated with clay in a very laborious process.

Not only the heat treatment but polishing and bringing a hamon to life is where the problem is at. Every single knife has a different contrast and it is not something that can be standardized - it requires a lot of experience to properly "read" such knife

While the blade is something that really made me happy, i really LOVE the materials used in the handle. Snakewood is known to be the most expensive exotic wood in the world. If you dont know snakewood, it only grows in a very specific area and its trees are narrow. The tree must be extremely processed in order to find the patterned areas and a good part of the tree is discarded.

Ebony is also a jewelry by itself - one of the heaviest woods in the planet and in my opinion one of the most beautiful too. I love darker materials so overall this handle really describes my style a lot.

Both woods in the handle are extremely durable and can easily last a lifetime and more.

Finally, in the handle we also have a beautiful fossilized and stabilized whale bone insert. This is a dark, subtle exotic insert that demands attention to see its details. It is something i put there just because "why not". I want my customers to have special materials and since whale bone is a very controversial material, i just wanted it there. Needless to describe its toughness, its literally whale bone filled with resin.

This is one of my best honyaki up to date and it is the product of a few years of studying hamon and how to proper process it.

You can expect this knife to be a REALLY high performance tool. Whoever takes this will be definitely happy.

Thanks everyone, hope you all have a great week!
