Hey guys! Coming to show you a knife that i was about to finish has been a long time.

In advance, ill mention that 14C28N is pretty much the same steel as AEBL, very few differences. 14C28N is probably my second favorite stainless steel since i personally consider it the stainless version of 52100.

In advance, you should consider this knife in the following cases:

- Grind and heat treatment taken to perfection
- Light weighted - 114 grams overall - 4oZ
- Perfectly balanced
- Insane toughness at 61HRC (see the youtube video below so you will understand)
- Stabilized handle with carbon fiber pins in a very comfy design
- Pinch grip perfection
- Both choil and spine rounded
- Fine machine finish, almost mirrored
- Perfected in terms of balance, meaning you will able to handle the knife much more precisely

How you will receive the knife

I picked this handle because it really reminds me the natural colors of bachelor buttons flower, it is somewhat blue/purple and has some really deep figures on it. Really stunning on person, unfortunately pictures dont do its justice.

VIDEO MEDIA:

Please forgive my poor food cutting skills, im working on it to suck a bit less.

Blade is hand sharpened to 2000 grit which i consider the proper grit for a daily/professinal use.

The thickness behind the bevel is quite thin so resharpening it in the future wont be a problem, it should be easy and fast to setup a new edge once you need to.

Very nice, another winner. My wife used her petty today for some vegetable prep, said it was great, thanks for the happy wife! 😊
You seem to be one of the first ones to have purchased a blade from Francisco and your wife enjoys it. May I ask about the order process, timely and value, does he live up to want he says? Thanks for any information

I sent you a PM. For the record I’m very pleased with the knife and Francisco’s way of doing business. I would definitely buy again.

I'm really excited for this one.
In all these years of knifery, I've never bought a custom chef/kitchen/utility knife....they're all cool-guy fixed & folders, but I've been thinking, "Why don't I have a really nice custom chef's knife?"...ya know, for me to stare at & my lovely wife to use. When I first saw this post, & that it was 8-days old, I figured it was long gone & just not updated, but alas, it was still available. Why, I'll never understand, but it's as though this talented & skilled young man took every single note out of my head & built this knife for me. Love the steel, the stock thickness, the length, the blade shape & geometry, the obvious care/knowledge/skill required to create such an elegantly balanced laser, the handle shape, & even the blue/purple coloring as purple's my favorite color. This is the exact knife I had in my head, & y'all had over a week to take it from me & didn't, so thank you my fellow knife enthusiasts.
Francisco, my man, your communication is just amazing, your passion is so compelling & so cool to see, & I cannot wait to get this knife & blow people's minds with its performance & beauty. Yes, this is largely about me showing off, with a knife I didn't make, that's kinda what I do.

Many thanks for this message brother! Last year i realized that most of the customers/collectors are from fixed/folders knives and for some reasons there is a lot people starting to have eyes for kitchen knives, even for collecting. When i build this knife i focused in my mind exactly what you described, something that could be appreciated to make a meal for self/family and easy to use and maintain, while having some artistry in the handle since i had this stabilized purple/blue maple on my shelf for long months and just realized was a good moment to use. As mentioned, pictures dont do its justice, you will love even more to see in person the colors of the maple, theyre deep figured.

Made my day, thank you! This community is amazing.
