Hey guys! Today coming to show you a smaller utility knife i just love to make that are highly functional and understimated.

This little workhorse features an amazing 140mm blade out of 1095 steel hardened to 61hrc with clay in order to make a beautiful hamon.
The blade has a smooth satin finish and an aggressive grind, NOT laser, yet it is really thin.
Being thin, it means you will be able to slice easier and sharpen it faster since it has less material to remove behind the edge. That being said, 1095 steel is really sharpening-friendly, you wont need more than 2 minutes to setup the edge again for a very long time before you need to do any heavier work on the edge.
Blade has 47mm heel to spine and a flat zone in the edge of 50mm.
Only 101 grams, balance point perfectly set in the choil, this blade feels perfect in hand, it will feel like it is a natural part of your arm.
BALANCE VIDEO:
About sharpness, it is fully hand sharpened to 3000 grit, i started on 220 grit, it wasant done on belt grinder by all means.
You can see in the picture below the edge kinda reflects the book

SLICING VIDEO:
You can see in the video the importance of the proper balance on the pinch grip area as well a good grind, by slicing paper without even handling the blade, you can imagine how easy it should slice food by applying pressure as a regular use for a knife.

Despite being simple, blade is taken to perfection. Satisfaction guaranteed.
HANDLE UPGRADE AVAILABLE: By handle upgrade i mean you can ask me to change the handle to a more fancy one. If you like the blade itself but also enjoy my more complex handles, you can take the blade and order a custom handle with exotic materials (like coral reef, mammoth molar etc) or simple make the handle out of stabilized maple since i got many high figured options. Colors like blue, purple, red, green, the classic brown burl. The price range goes from 80 to 200$ extra for a more fancy handle.
Some stabilized maple available which im inspired to use:

sold Shipped worldwide with zipped pouch included - around 6~9 days to reach your hands - no importing fees/taxes guaranteed. Despite being new to the forum, got tons of references, PM me to claim or email me here
My currently available knives:
stainless damascus gyuto with mammoth molar fossil inlay
mizu honyaki k-tip
mizu honyaki gyuto
magnacut custom chef knife
Thanks guys, hope you enjoy it.
