Hey guys! Long storyu short is that i buyed some "exotic" steel from US (cpm magnacut and the new carbon steel Sheffcut) and i got heavily taxed over importing duties.

As some of you know, in Brazil they tax literally over 70% on the order (including shipment cost).

So, to every 100$ i spent on US, i have to pay 70$ to the government, simple like this.

Not only the fact i buyed the steel, i choosed the most expensive shipment so government has feasted over me.

That being said, ill be making available the offer below.

TIMESTAMP as a good business practice

WHY TO TAKE THESE KNIVES:

Not only the situational price, these are two knives that will combo their use on a daily use. We got two solid handles out of A+ grade ironwood with a inner core of micarta, probably the toughest and one of the most stable materials for handles available. This core is meant to give the wood more stability to warping, cracking etc over its long lasting lifetime. The blades are perfected in terms of grind, balance, weight.

While some people have had bad experiences with japanese handles before, im confident these ones will be as much comfy as possible, you can see they were carefully shaped based on the size and weight of the blade, with different facets, not simple made using a jig.

While most of my kitchen knives has a balance between artistry and performance, these knives are mostly close to the "tool" side of the scale.

The bigger one is a 250mm honyaki gyuto, heat treated with clay in order of having a hamon. It has a very time consuming finish applied on it giving that unique texture on the flats while keeping the hamon smooth and plain. The texture on the blade is actually the literal steel microstructure etched, it is not done artificially with sanding or anything. It has a thin geometry but it is not a laser. Has a thin tip that will flex perfectly for laser precise cuts on food. Heat treated to 60~61HRC, a knife this big you wont want more than this for a daily.

The smaller one is a 150mm utility knife out of Blue #2 steel san mai imported directly from Japan. Its a knife meant to run on higher hardness values, 62~63hrc since its smaller and easy to control on the cutting board. It has a perfect balance as well the bigger gyuto and has a bit more "bulky" grind which makes it perfect for carving meat or just slice some veggies and spices. The fact it is san mai is really impressive since the blade will bend if abused even at 62hrc without cracking.

THEY BOTH have fully rounded choil and spines for better comfort, this is a game changer for your hand comfort.

157 grams of weight over that big gyuto but still less heavy than most of the smartphones out there is something hard to describe, you will be impressed once you use it for the first time.

Both knives are hand sharpened to 2000 grit and will surely meet your expectations. Might post a video or two later of they slicing but im not in home right now.

SOLD$ worldwide shipped - 5~10 days to be delivered - guaranteed to be FREE of duties or taxes - zipped pouch included (see my last threads to check how the zipped pouch looks like).
