NOW SOLD
Hey guys!
Many people contacted me for ordering my recently design "raptor" and thanks to two customers feedback, i got inspired into making the same raptor but a bit longer in a more "all-around" approach.
This one is almost a kiritsuke on its own, but with the sexy curves of the raptor
and an extra dose of hammered texture which i LOVE of course.

This knife is probably one of my best designs ever.
Making hammered finish into an air-hardening steel such 14C28N is no easy task and must be done precisely
The texture is done by a rounded hammer, so it wont affect how difficult is to clean the blade, you can see the radius of the textures are considerably big.

FOR THE HANDLE I picked a simple insanely beautiful CROSSCUT kingwood. Kingwood its one of the most exotic and rarest woods in the planet by itself, now try searching in the google its crosscut version and you will find anything.
Its incredible rare to get suppliers willing to crosscut kingwood and having correct dimensions for such, as kingwood is a narrow tree, this stacks in the difficulty of getting such beautiful specie.
The wood is just ridiculous.
It is among the top 10 heaviest woods in the planet with a density of about 1,2g/cm³ (pretty much the same of african ebony).
Needless to say it is quite tough and barely absorbs moisture.

SPECS & NOTES
7" blade length
2" wide at the heel
Swedish 14C28N - same stainless composition as AEBL - by Sandvik - hardened to 61HRC
The grind on this knife is quite aggressive but it has a more "workhorse" geometry rather than a laser. It will do nice as a daily knife that can be slightly abused.
It has a thin, rigid tip, so despite 14c28n being one of the toughest stainless steel in the world, do not apply lateral forces on it.
Crosscut kingwood handle spoken for
Superb fit, grind, finish and overall profile.
Its ergonomics are really, really good.
Its weight is so perfectly centered in the pinch grip area that you can literally balance the knife in a finger tip
