Hello to All, Here is one more fancy little bird and trout that is super light and sweet. I hope you like what you see. This Knife has been (sold), but keep lookin.

The blade is of 440c thickness is .101 and has been heat treated to 58-59 RC and has been cryogenicly treated as well with a double 2 hour temper. The blade has a file worked taper tang. The blade is right at 2.75 in. tip to guard,and the o/a is 6.75.VERY! SHARP!

The handle is of stabilized maple with thin black fiber liners, ancient watrus ivory pins and accents w/lanyard hole. Handle has a nice gentle swell that feels nice and comfortable in the hand.

The guard is of nickel silver pinned and soldered.

The sheath is made of 8-9 ounce leather that has been hand stitched and hand tooled and is custom made to fit the knife. The knife snap fits into the sheath and holds securely yet is easy to withdraw.

What a fine knife.I really like the file work on the tapered tang,first I have seen of that.Love the ivory on the pins very nice arrangement.

Alan I always love your knives. But from one maker to another, I have to say my favorite part of your knives has to be your plunge lines. They are the cleanest I have ever seen. Silly I know, but I'm sure other makers get it ;)
 
This knife brings together all of the aspects that, over the years, I have admired in the knives that I have seen.

Beautiful symmetry, file work, handle material, tapered tang, stunning pins, etc., etc.,............

This package arrived today and I could not be more pleased. As has been said in the past, the pictures do not do justice to this knife and sheath. The workmanship is impeccable on both the knife and sheath. I am proud to finally own one of
Alans' knives and highly recommend them to others.
